Use of SolBo

SolBo provides task board, collaboration, reminder, and stats features. Users are responsible for the content they create, share, assign, upload, or manage inside the app.

Age Requirement

SolBo is intended for users aged 13 and older. Users under 13 may not create an account or use SolBo. Where local law requires parental or guardian consent for users above 13 but under the local age of digital consent, the user must have that consent.

Accounts

Users must provide accurate account information and keep account access secure. SolBo may restrict or terminate access if the app is used for abuse, spam, illegal activity, or actions that harm the service or other users.

Shared Boards

Board owners control who is invited to their shared boards. Members should only add content they are allowed to share with other members of that board.

Subscriptions

If paid plans are offered, subscriptions unlock shared-board invitation limits. Subscription payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled through Apple App Store or Google Play according to the store used to buy the subscription. Paid plans may include a 7-day free trial when shown in the app or store purchase sheet.

Cancellations and Downgrades

Users can cancel subscriptions through the App Store or Google Play. When a subscription is cancelled, access to paid collaboration features remains active until the end of the current paid billing period. Yearly subscriptions remain active until the yearly term expires. When a subscription ends, SolBo may move the account back to the Free plan. Existing boards and tasks are not deleted only because a plan ends, but new collaboration actions may be limited until the account is upgraded again.

Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to the store where the subscription was purchased and applicable law.

Acceptable Use

Users may not use SolBo to harass others, distribute harmful content, attempt unauthorized access, overload the service, reverse engineer private systems, or violate applicable laws.

Availability

SolBo is provided as available. Some features depend on third-party services, app stores, network access, and device permissions.

No Critical or Professional Use

SolBo should not be used as the only system for emergency, safety-critical, medical, legal, financial, compliance, employment-critical, or other high-risk workflows. SolBo does not provide legal, medical, financial, business, compliance, or other professional advice.

Task Accuracy, Reminders, and User Responsibility

SolBo is a planning and collaboration tool, not a guaranteed recordkeeping, scheduling, safety, emergency, legal, medical, financial, or compliance system. Users are responsible for reviewing their own boards, tasks, reminders, assignments, due dates, statuses, notifications, and shared-board updates. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SolBo is not responsible for missed tasks, missed deadlines, lost work, incorrect task status, delayed updates, missing notifications, sync issues, network failures, device issues, app store issues, third-party service issues, or decisions made based on information shown or not shown in the app.

Data Loss and Backups

SolBo may use backups, logs, and operational safeguards, but SolBo does not guarantee that deleted, missing, corrupted, or unsynced content can be restored. Users should keep their own records of information that is important outside the app.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SolBo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost opportunities, missed deadlines, business interruption, or losses caused by reliance on app content, reminders, notifications, task statuses, sync behavior, or shared-board updates. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SolBo's total liability for any claim related to the app or these terms will not exceed the amount paid by the user to SolBo for the app during the 12 months before the claim, or USD $50 if no amount was paid.

Account Deletion

Users can delete their account in the app. Deleting an owner account deletes owned boards and tasks. Account deletion does not automatically cancel Apple or Google billing, so users with active subscriptions should cancel through the relevant store before deleting their account.
