Overview
SolBo is a task board app for personal boards, shared boards, reminders, stats, and collaboration. This policy explains what data SolBo collects, why it is used, and how users can request deletion or support.
Age Requirement
SolBo is intended for users aged 13 and older. SolBo is not directed to children under 13. Users under 13 may not create an account or use SolBo. If we learn that personal data from a child under 13 has been collected, we will delete it.
Data We Collect
SolBo may collect account email, provider identity, user ID, display name, profile photo, board membership, invite email addresses, task content, task descriptions, notes, checklist items, task assignments, completion data, saved user-entered locations, push notification tokens, notification preferences, theme/sound/animation preferences, subscription status, purchase identifiers, and technical diagnostics such as app version, device type, operating system version, crash stack traces, and error logs.
What We Do Not Collect
SolBo does not use advertising SDKs, does not sell personal data, does not share personal data for advertising, and does not collect GPS location. Locations in SolBo are labels entered by the user, such as Home, Office, or Gym.
How We Use Data
SolBo uses data to create and secure accounts, sync boards, show shared-board members, send task reminders and daily digests when enabled, process subscriptions, provide support, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and operate the app.
Shared Board Data
Content inside a shared board is visible to the members of that board. This can include task names, descriptions, assignments, checklist items, status changes, notes, saved locations used in tasks, and member profile photos.
Profile Photos
Profile photos are compressed before upload and are used only to identify members inside SolBo. Users can change or remove their profile photo in the app. SolBo currently plans only profile photo uploads, not task files or task image uploads.
Push Notifications
SolBo may store push tokens to send task reminders, daily digests, and shared-board updates when notification settings are enabled. Users can turn notification options off in Settings.
Service Providers
SolBo may use service providers such as Supabase for authentication, database, realtime updates, storage, and Edge Functions; Expo for push notifications and app services; Google and Apple for sign-in and store distribution; and email providers such as Resend for authentication and invite emails. SolBo uses Sentry for crash and error reporting to diagnose bugs and app reliability issues. SolBo configures diagnostics to avoid intentionally sending task content, board content, profile photos, or email message contents in crash reports.
Payments
If subscriptions are offered, payments are processed through Apple App Store and Google Play billing. SolBo stores subscription status, purchase identifiers, and plan limits, but does not store full payment card details.
Data Retention
Account and board data is kept while the account is active. Some operational data may be retained for security, backup, legal, billing, or abuse-prevention reasons.
Account Deletion
Users can delete their account from inside the app. If a user cannot access the app, they can contact support. Deleting an owner account deletes owned boards and tasks. Some limited records may be retained where required for security, legal, billing, fraud-prevention, or backup reasons.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or object to certain processing of your personal data. To make a privacy request, contact support@solbo.app.
